Bien sûr, les décors de sciences-fictions sont fascinants et, en écoutant Echoes Of The Void, on se laissera naturellement (ou cybernétiquement) porter par l'electronica tout en retenue de Holon qui ne cède jamais à une agressivité gratuite ("Out There Alone", "The Stars Our Destination"). Virtual Nothing est bien entendu un détournement de l'expression "réalité virtuelle" : pas pour dire que le monde en ligne n'a aucun sens mais plutôt que *nous* en tant qu'humains y sommes vidés de notre propre existence. Holon emprunte à nouveau des textures provenant de la synthwave pour construire un monde plein de charmes qui devient de plus en plus inquiétant (bruits étranges dans "Here To Collect", rythme rigide dans "Superficial Existence", etc.). Holon est vraiment un pessimiste génial ! Jordan Vauvert
